The Isle of Skye
I traded the dreary English countryside for the snowy mountains of Skye. When a friend and client asks if you want to spend New Year with them in their cottage that is so picturesque, you could see it feature in a ffern advert, how could you possibly say no?
This content rebrand was fuelled on connection to the land, its heritage and the incredible wildlife that surrounds the cottage. How can I say this lightly: we saw a humpback whale and it made my whole year.
Natural light pooling through small windows. The weight of wool blankets. Steam from the kettle caught in afternoon sun. I found two old bottles hidden between the dry stone wall, remnants of Moll Cottages historical tenants.
Days spent capturing editorial content for a traditional keeper's cottage: texture-led photography that invites guests to linger. A visual rebrand built on slowness and sensory detail. The kind that makes you want to settle in, beneath a blanket, saying hello to the otter that says good morning, every morning.
